Place was vibrant, thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
It was nicely decorated, soundproof and with views to the streets. The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location, in other restaurants in Chefshauen. And we were close enough to Medina, the taxi in the pouring rain and the trail to the Spanish mosque up in the mountain🙂❤😃

Dar Besmellah is a lovely family-run hotel with obliging staff and particularly good views of the sunset over Chefchaouen. The atmosphere in the room and lounge area is very pleasant. Its location is favorable and awesome, situated close to other restaurants in Chefchaouen and within walking distance to a quiet area, the Spanish mosque, and the Medina.

If you're a party person looking for an amazing stay, this place is perfect for you. It is located right in the heart of the town, just a few steps away from the main square of the old medina. the view from the terrace is breathtaking, especially towards the Spanish mosque up in the mountain. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. Plus, the rooms are comfortable, and the handmade decor adds a unique touch to the ambiance.
There were a few minor issues with the facilities, such as the shared bathroom being a bit wet after showering, but nothing that would ruin your overall experience.

I stayed at Dar Besmellah for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. The family that runs the riad was incredibly welcoming, especially considering my late arrival during a heavy rainstorm. The value for money was great, and I regret not trying the breakfast. They even recommended a local hammam for a unique and amusing experience. The location was fantastic, with a charming patisserie just a short walk away. The riad itself was comfortable, well-decorated, and offered a great view of the surrounding area. The hosts, Ismael, Omar, and Said, were friendly and knowledgeable, making my stay feel like a home away from home.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
